Self-Service Check-In Kiosks
Vanguard, the parent company for Alamo and National Rent A Car needed to increase efficiency during the check in process. Customers were experiencing long wait times because of the high volume Vanguard locations were experiencing.
Nanonation working with Perot Systems and Kiosk Information Systems designed the first rental car self check in kiosk available to all of Vanguards customers. The solution, currently deployed at several pilot locations including Las Vegas Airport , one of Vanguards busiest, has shown remarkable results. Customer wait times have been reduced with a significant portion of renters choosing to use the self-service option. The kiosk has made the pilot locations more efficient and able to handle a greater number of renters without the need for additional staffing. The Nanonation designed interface presents options to renters in a clear and easy to understand format and has cut check in times significantly.
